This is a ‘special’ episode co-hosted by Sandra Busby and myself to introduce our brand new website and upcoming Podcast, ‘Kick in the Creatives

We set up to create an umbrella site for creative challenges. You’ll find details of the big popular challenges such as Nanowrimo, Inktober and The 100 Day Project. But we’ve also created some brand new challenges that are completely free to take part in. We’ve got Art Journal January, February Faces and February Fables coming up, plus a very unusual challenge for July. I think Sandra may have thought that one up during our does alcohol increase creativity challenge.

If you’ve got your own free creative challenge that’s at least 30 days long we’d love you to submit your challenges too.

On the site, we have a calendar of circles. You can choose a month and see what challenges are happening. It’s in the top menu too. If you sign up for our monthly newsletter we’ll keep you up to date with all the challenges that are coming up. We plan to further develop the site with tips and tutorials.

The brand new Kick in the Creatives podcast will be launching mid-January. Idea Medic will continue too, so you’ll have a double dose of creativity.

Please join the first challenge, Art Journal January

The first challenge is a great one to start your resolution to be more creative. I will be taking part and I have never really tried journaling so I hope you can join me and we can support each other in the challenge.
